Anika Steen, retail employee at MHC Mobility, explains how CarCollect helps sell used cars faster and better.

My name is Anika Steen and I am a retail employee at MHC Mobility. I am responsible for used car sales and for the auctions we organize via CarCollect.

International organization with sales from Groningen
MHC Mobility is part of Mitsubishi Hitachi Capital, an international organization with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Poland. Used cars are sold from Groningen, while leasing activities take place from Eindhoven, Heerhugowaard, and Rotterdam.

Working with CarCollect daily
In her role, Anika uses CarCollect daily. “I use the platform for the trade-in cars that customers offer us and for the cars that we put up for auction ourselves.

MHC Mobility organizes one to two auctions via the platform every week. “These are auctions of about 60 to 70 cars, and sometimes even more. I am in regular contact with the CarCollect team regarding both the auctions and the trade-ins.

High success rate
The auctions yield strong results. “About 9 out of 10 cars are actually awarded. That is also pleasing for dealers, because they know that their bids are not in vain.

Greater reach, more bids
According to Anika, CarCollect primarily ensures a wider reach. “With the push of a button, we reach many more dealers than before. Where we previously might have only reached a few local buyers, we now reach dealers throughout the country, even in the north of the Netherlands.

That larger network also leads to better results. “We see that there are more bids on cars and that the bids are often higher as well. Sometimes a specific car attracts a very specific buyer who is willing to bid more.
