As the person responsible for used cars at Garage Kenis, Stefan Steenhuysen sees how CarCollect helps them move faster and close better deals.
Garage Kenis consists of five dealerships with five brands: Renault, Dacia, Alpine, Nissan and most recently BYD. “Before, we had no real system. Salespeople sent me photos on WhatsApp, I forwarded them to buyers and then shared the prices back. It took a lot of time and there was no clear overview.”
Faster bids, better prices
According to Stefan, switching to CarCollect immediately paid off. “We were a bit hesitant at first, since our salespeople want prices right away. With other systems, you often wait days. But through CarCollect, bids came in surprisingly fast. The buyers we already worked with are still there, but many new traders joined in, often with higher offers. That allows us to offer our customers better deals.”
Smart use of the app
All trade-ins are listed on CarCollect, except for young used cars of their own brands with less than 100,000 km, which they keep in-house. “The app is super practical. You’re by the car, take photos, enter everything on the spot and don’t waste the customer’s time. As a manager, I can also correct if photos aren’t taken properly. That saves a lot of hassle later.”
More control over the sales process
For Stefan, CarCollect is not just about finding buyers. “Because we receive bids more frequently, we can surprise customers more often with a higher price. That makes the entire sales process faster and better.”
