Erik van de Weerdt from Volvo dealer Van Roosmalen explains how CarCollect has strengthened their trading processes.

Van Roosmalen is a family business that has been serving customers since 1967. If the car doesn’t meet expectations, we offer an exchange guarantee, and most vehicles come with a 24-month warranty,” Erik explains.

A Network for Optimal Results

Implementing an all-in pricing strategy requires a network that guarantees the best price for trade-in vehicles. “After a trial period, we transitioned all five of our locations to CarCollect,” Erik shares.

Efficient Management of Vehicles Outside the Scope

Van Roosmalen’s showrooms exclusively feature Volvos with fewer than 200,000 kilometers and full dealer maintenance. “All other Volvos and vehicles from other brands are offered through CarCollect, providing the community access to a wide range of high-quality cars,” Erik explains.

Seamless Collaboration and Transport

CarCollect serves as a platform not only for selling but also for purchasing vehicles, including a transport module. “This ensures that purchased vehicles arrive quickly at our locations,” says Erik. Vehicles outside the Volvo scope are immediately assigned to the highest bidder, and with CarCollect, Van Roosmalen achieves a 30% conversion rate.
